IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SLEEPING ROOMS & TAX EXEMPT STATUS
If your district/organization is sales tax exempt in WI, please be sure to bring at least one of the following to present at check-in:
A completed Wisconsin S211
A copy of a Certificate of Exempt Status (CES) form (example)
School ID card
Out of State Non-Profit Organizations also need an S-211 (filled out by the guest OR the tax-exempt group) or the CES form.
CREDIT CARD: If paying with a personal credit card, you will also need a letter on district letterhead stating that you are traveling on business and will be reimbursed for travel by your employer.
CHECK: If your district is paying by check, checks need to be received by the Wilderness 10 business days prior to the stay.
PURCHASE ORDER: The Wilderness will accept a signed purchase order for payment, but payment must actually be received PRIOR to your stay. Bring the purchase order, S211 form, OR your tax exempt form (CES) upon check in.
